The college was established in the year 2008 and started functioning from the academic year 2009 2010. One batch of students has come out from the college in the academic year 2011- 2012. The percentage of result is 41%. 5.00 Acres of Land is allotted to the college. A proposal of construction of new building was submitted to CCE, Hyderabad as the CM of AP has announced one core rupees for the construction of building in Indiramma Bata Programme , But no amount was received yet. At present the college is functioning in the GDC, Gajwel building with a shift system from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The college is located in the Gajwel Town and fulfils the needs of surrounding villages. The college is a boom for rural women students.
The vision of the college is achieved through the following Action plan. To propagate the importance of Higher Education among the Society and encourage the women students to join in the public funded Institutions for free Education and available financial assistance in the shape of scholarships. To enlighten the society that the basic degree is essential to achieve the employment. To enlighten about the rule of reservation is to be enjoyed by the downtrodden classes, so that they come forward to join in the Higher Education Institutions. To inject moral ethics among the students through value based Education and make them to contribute their Knowledge skills for National development .
